RedMesa is not a tech name.
It is a memory.
It comes from a kitchen table stained with time and filled with lessons taught to me in form of story over food and drink. Understanding someone's story helps me understand why they started their business to begin with. I was always taught that you can really understand a man, if you work to understand where he came from." I feel the same way about companies no matter where they are in their lifecycle.
Before I design an AI system, I want to understand the origin story.
Was the company born out of frustration? Out of necessity? Out of conviction? Out of survival?
Because the reason it started determines how it should scale.
Story before Strategy
Most AI firms start with tools.
We start with context.
My grandparents were gardeners in Los Angeles. They built reputations yard by yard, client by client. They understood something instinctively that many modern companies forget: sustainability beats spectacle.
You cannot shortcut roots.
In corporate America, I became first generation in rooms my family never stepped into. National growth leader. CRM architecture. Regulatory environments where every decision carries consequence.
When I faced complexity, I would return to that table in my mind. My grandfather would not have cared about the jargon. He would have asked simpler questions:
What is the real problem? What is the foundation? What are you overwatering? What needs pruning?
